Project Green Sakthi has evolved into significant size, creating large impact not only around Thirumalaikodi but also in many villages in other districts of Tamilnadu. Significant progress has been achieved through this initiative resulting in substantial difference in the climatic conditions of Thirumalaikodi and the surrounding areas. With the support from the Government Department of Forests, over 2 million saplings have been planted over the last 10 years.

On 10th August of 2012, Sri Sakthi Amma initiated Panchayats in Vellore and Thiruvannamalai districts, empowering over 1638 Panchayats plant saplings in their village. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam distributed the saplings to each of the Panchayats with 500 fruit bearing plants, leading to the planting of over 6,00,000 saplings within this year in these districts.

Sripuram, Sri Narayani Peedam donated all the saplings, which were grown in our own nursery to ensure the consistency in quality, leading to better success rate.
